From my cursed hunts since the update, yes and by a lot. Caveat: I've been sticking to Tanglewood because I want to find the cursed item as soon as I can, and every cursed hunt I've had was longer than a "regular" hunt by a huge margin. I'm not sure if this is true for the medium/large maps, but it's noticeably obvious on teeny-tiny Tanglewood.
